two horizontal and two vertical wash elements to work so efficiently
that a full-size vehicle can be washed in a mere 90 seconds ...and
fully dried in just 60 seconds more!
The SoftCare2 JUNO
automatic car wash comprises of two connected Softcare portals each
consisting of Self propelled steel structure, galvanised, primed and
finished in two component paint. 2 drive rails, dowelled or welded to the
floor, track length 9metres. Trolley mounted services. 4 variable speed
worm-gear drive motors. The speed of the rollover portal is controlled by a
frequency converter. Normal washing / drying speeds 14.6m/min and 7.3m/min.
The machine has two
vertical brushes, suspended in a carriage in a pendulum arrangement.
Individually controlled by in-out motors to give an overlapping wash of the
front and rear of the vehicle. The machine also has two horizontal bruses in
vertical guide rails supported at both ends, suspended by toothed Kevlar -
reinforced belts, balanced by counterweights. The top brushes are computer
controlled and take into account factors such as outside temperature, wear
of the brush and bearings to provide optimum brush pressure at all times.
Vehicles are dried with 4
side nozzles 3kW each, and 2 photo electric controlled roof nozzles
comprising 2 fans 2.2kW each.
